Where are kidneys
The human body has two kidneys located in the back of the body, on each side of the spine at the lowest level of the rib cage. They are shaped like two beans and are about the size of a fist - 12 cm in length and weighing 150 grams each.

They are part of urinary system and connected to the bladder through two tubes called ureters.
